Offical Rules

KVGQ will conduct this contest on weekdays, beginning Monday, January 2nd 2012.
KVGQ reserves the right to end the contest at any time without additional notice.
Employees, associates, interns of KVGQ, other related sponsors, and their immediate families may not participate and are not eligible to win. The term “immediate families” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
There is one (1) way to enter the KVGQ “$10,000 Cast Out” Contest. How to enter is as follows: listeners must be caller 69, when asked by the on air personality between the hours of 6am and 9am.
KVGQ will conduct the “$10,000 Cash Out” Contest every Monday through Friday between the following hours (all hours are PST): 6:00am – 9:00am. Between these contest hours one (1) listener, who is caller 69 to the KVGQ request line (702-262-1069) when asked by the on air personality will win the $100 cash prize.
KVGQ listeners can listen on that same day during the 9am hour to find out what the next “Q Song of the Day” is and in what hour it will air the following day.
Contestants can pick up their cash prize in check form on the next business day after 1:00pm. If the following day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then the prize winner must wait until the following Monday to pick up their prize. Winners can pick up their prize between the hours of 1:00pm and 5:30pm at the KVGQ Studios (located at 3999 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Suite K, Las Vegas, NV 89119).
Winners of the KVGQ “$10,000 Cash Out” contest cannot win another prize from KVGQ for thirty (30) days from the date of winning.
The contest winner must be the participant who originally dialed to phone-in to the KVGQ request line to participate in that specific contest. No family members, friends, office associates, or any other person will be allowed to participate in the contest on another person’s behalf. The winning contestant must provide their own name, own birth date, own address, own zip code (that appears on their Nevada identification card) and own phone number. If a contestant uses a false or incomplete name or birth date, they will be immediately disqualified from the contest and be ineligible to win any prize.
This contest and the prize values may be ended or altered at the sole discretion of KVGQ management.
The winning contestants will be required to submit sufficient identification in person including a valid driver’s license, valid Nevada identification card, social security card and/or birth certificate.
The prize winning contestant is subject to verification of their identity by KVGQ prior to the prize being awarded. The prize winning contestant may also be required to submit to a voice analysis to compare their voice to the prize winning call audio tape from the contest to verify an audio match. A voice analysis that does not produce an audio match will disqualify the contestant and result in a prize claim denial.
KVGQ, KEMP Broadcasting Corporation, or any of their related or affiliated entities are not responsible for any disconnection of a participant’s telephone call due to local or long distance company failure, power company failure, or other acts of God.
As a prize winner, you acknowledge that KVGQ has a right to, without further authorization, publicize your name, character likeness, photograph, voice, and the fact that you are a prize winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.
There is no purchase necessary to enter or win the contest. Contestants must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license or Nevada I.D. to play.
There will be no substitution for prizes. Participation in the contest and the prizes awarded are non- transferable. If forfeited, the prize will remain the property of KVGQ. Another winner will not be selected.
The decision of KVGQ management in the interpretation of these rules is final. By participating, persons agree to be bound by the decisions of the judge and the official rules.
Prize winner automatically forfeits prize if they fail to pick up their prize within 30 business days of winning.
All contestants in the contest must be 16 years of age and a Clark County, Nevada resident.
